Melbourne, Australia — The death of their employer and friend gave two men the motivation to complete a new and unique project that allows the terminally ill, or those in hospice or under palliative care to prepare messages of all kinds to be sent to their loved ones after death.

Nathan Martyn and John Moetteli formed Eterna Link Communications, Inc. (ELC) because of their relationship with Martyn's boss, John Douglass, director of a software firm in Australia. The "Heaven's Mail" service allows customers to create e-cards for select recipients, which can be scheduled for future delivery on dates of their choosing, such as special occasions, birthdays and anniversaries.
