Adventure Park at West Bloomfield To Host Second Annual "Lil' Miss Adventure Park" Pageant, July 6, 2016 – Limited Time Remaining to Enter

June 23, 2016 - The second annual "Lil' Miss Adventure Park" – a fun, stylish celebration of Michigan and its forests, designed for young ladies ages 7 to 12 and culminating with crowning ceremonies – will take place at The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield, MI on Wednesday, July 6 from 6:00 PM ­- 7:30 PM. There is no charge to participate but girls interested in entering must do so soon at the registration webpage as only a limited number of openings remain.

This event's atmosphere is more fun than competitive. Every participant will be provided a sash and tiara upon arrival along with an opportunity for face painting. All the girls and their parents will receive long stem roses.

The activities will take place on the Adventure Park's Forest Stage with family and friends observing from the audience nearby. Park Manager, Thomas Knuth will again serve as Master of Ceremonies, interviewing and highlighting each girl's special interests for forest conservation.

A panel of local judges from the surrounding communities will serve on this year's pageant. The winner will be crowned on the spot from the judges' consensus. She will then take her triumphant walk through the forest to greet the crowd as "Lil' Miss Adventure Park 2016."

Lil' Miss Adventure Park will be crowned with an authentic woodland headpiece, grand sash and a bouquet of flowers. She will also receive the Grand Prize of 10 general admission climbs at The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield for the remainder of the 2016 season. She may also be asked to appear at several events at The Adventure Park during the current season and donate free time on forest conservation around the park.

About The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield
Set on five acres of beautiful forest behind the Jewish Community Center at 6600 West Maple Rd, West Bloomfield Township MI 48322, The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield consists of ten different, color­ coded "aerial trails" featuring a series of tree platforms connected by challenge bridges and ziplines. These aerial trails range from introductory through advanced challenge levels, suitable for climbers age five through adult. Previous climbing or zip lining experience is not necessary and all participants are provided with harnesses that are continuously connected to a safety cable throughout their climb.
