Hair Follicle Simulation, Tricopigmentation and Scalp Micropigmentation At SMC in Toronto

June 19, 2016 (PRLEAP.COM) Health News
June 19, 2016 - Firstly, SMP or Scalp Micropigmentation as we call it at The Scalp Micropigmentation Center of Toronto, has many names for the same process. Scalp Micropigmentation involves the process of inserting pigment or ink into the lower epidermis of the scalp using a fine needle point to replicate the size and shape of a hair follicle. This simulation gives bald or balding men the appearance of a freshly shaved head of hair or a buzzcut.

This same process can add thickness and density to those Men and Women who have bald spots or thinning hair. By adding pigmented hair follicles to the scalp, we cover the lighter shade thus not allowing light to penetrate and give the look of thinning hair of balding. At SMC, we call this procedure SMP HD (Hair Density). SMP HD is a great treatment for both Men and Women with thinning hair, but also Men or Women who have had a hair transplant and still don't feel that they have enough density, and the hair is still to thin or see through.

As well, the Scalp Micropigmentation process can be used to cover up Scalp Scars as a result of hair transplants (FUE or FUT), surgical procedures, or accidents, by camouflaging the scar into the rest of the hair follicles in the scalp, or by adding density and camouflaging the scar with the rest of your longer hair. At SMC, we call this procedure SMP SC (Scar Camouflage).

Scalp Micropigmentation is called by names depending on your location. In Europe, you will find this procedure called Tricopigmentation or Hair Follicle Simulation. In Canada and United States, the word Scalp Micropigmentation is often used. Although the titles of the procedure differ, the process is the same. However, although the process may be the same, the technique to achieve the best results differ.

At SMC, we feel that we are the leaders in the industry and we have the results that prove this notion. If you take a look at The Scalp Micropigmentation Center of Toronto's Instagram page (www.instagram.com/scalpmicropigmentationcenter) or Facebook page (www.facebook.com/scalpmicropigmentationcenter) you will see many of the results we have been able to obtain over the years using our technique. Unfortunately, when you are a threat to other SMP companies, you become the target of fake reviews and fake write ups by the bigger companies who feel that you are cutting into their profits. Although we have taken a hit from these big companies, as more and more SMP Artists come up, it is almost impossible for these big companies to go after everyone at the same time. Fortunately, our results speak for themselves, and the bigger corporate companies underestimate how smart the average person is that reads these fake reviews, and can see right past them.

The Scalp Micropigmentation Center of Toronto specializes in SMP, SMP HD and SMP SC. Our results can be seen online, and the fact that we are booking months in advance for these treatments lets our potential clients know that we are the best in the industry. We are constantly attending seminars and conventions in order to bring our clients the best available and up to date treatment options available. Requests for private training sessions in the Scalp Micropigmentation industry by our SMC Artist has hit the hundreds, and we are working on a manual and should be offering private and semi private training soon. As well, our SMP Artist will be going on the road, from Canada to China to train already established SMP Artists and inspiring SMP future Artists the best techniques in the industry.

SMC produces their own inks, their own needles and will be coming out with an array of products to help those in the industry become successful.

If you are looking for the best SMP Clinic, you need to research companies in or around your area. Avoid the Scalp Search Engines, as these are only the larger companies or wolves in sheep's clothing driving you to their websites by showing you generic pictures of actual clients. You need to speak with the actual SMP Artist that will be doing your treatment to get a good feeling about them and their experience in the industry. View actual pictures and videos of your chosen SMP Artist and make sure they completed the treatment, and not someone else. Most of all, view their certificates and training to determine how long they have been in the industry. If the company is only interested in your money, walk away. If the company wants to book you the same day, walk away. If the company shows you generic pictures and videos, walk away. If you the company says they have been doing this for 10 or more years, walk away (there may be only a handful of SMP Artists that have been doing this treatment for 10 or more years). If the company doesn't allow you to speak to the actual SMP Artist, walk away.
