DeMers Enterprises, LLC Acquires India-Based Software Development Firm ElectroSocial

June 16, 2016 - DeMers Enterprises LLC, founded by marketing & tech entrepreneur Jayson DeMers, has acquired a development team based out of India for an undisclosed amount. This development team has delivered many software projects, one of which was a notable competitor to Twitter in the early days of microblogging serving more than a million requests per month. The digital consulting team, which was founded by Mr. Dipankar Sarkar, will continue developing software for DeMers Enterprises, LLC.

Mr. Sarkar has launched a startup named Octo.ai (http://octo.ai), which is a robot for marketing. Octo analyzes a site's content and user behavior data to create complex individual user profiles semantically tied in to the content. Its proprietary algorithms and Neural networks then work on predicting Intellimoments for each user. Intellimoments are intent rich moments for a consumer where decisions are made and preferences are shaped. Octo then reaches out to users during these Intellimoments to increase time spent on app and revenues.
