Rob A. Aldrich, President of MAVDevelopment Company has led the firm’s $75,000,000+ asset growth, including the development and leasing of over 350,000 sq. ft. of office and retail space plus residential and commercial land ventures covering more than 500 acres. Rob is a licensed real estate broker and Member of Ann Arbor Board of Realtors, Building Owners and Managers Association, and the Urban Land Institute. Karl Couyoumjian, is President of TeL Systems (formerly Thalner Electronic Labs) and has been with the company since 1977. Mr. Couyoumjian is the current President of Professional Systems Network International (PSNI), an international affiliation of professional Video and Audio/Visual integrators. He has also served on a number of national advisory panels for manufacturers such as Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer and Kodak.
Ron Maurer is Vice President of Administration for Zingerman’s Community of Business. At Zingerman’s, Ron is in charge of Accounting, Finance, Legal and Administrative matters, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Marketing. Mr. Maurer is a finance and operations executive with experience in manufacturing, banking, and hospitality. His professional experience runs the gamut from start-ups to mature, publicly traded companies
Ed McEachern is the CEO/Owner of Huron Valley Printing & Imaging, a graphics communications company providing marketing solutions and materials through professional graphic design, printing, and direct-mail services since 1979. Mr. McEachern has served in various leadership positions within the graphics industry, and is actively involved in the local non-profit community.
Ed Pagani is Senior Director of Strategic Alliances Department at Pfizer Inc, Michigan Laboratories. Dr. Pagani sits on a number of technology transfer advisory committees and university-industry advisory boards. In 2004, he was elected president of the Michigan Biotechnology Association (MichBio), a non-profit organization dedicated to driving the growth of the life sciences industry in Michigan, and is a Board member and Secretary of Ann Arbor SPARK.
Nicola Rooney moved to Ann Arbor in 1995 to buy the Little Professor Bookstore with no previous retail or book industry experience. She spent ten years in the Little Professor franchise, but the store is now entirely independent. Previously, Nicola worked for 25 years in the International Chemical Industry in R&D, Marketing and Technical support. Nicola holds a BA, MA and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University and was the first woman to graduate in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge.
