April 28, 2016 - The Outdoor Venture Group (aka "Outdoor Ventures" or "OV") a company formed in 2008 to bring the Swiss style aerial forest adventure park to the United States, and which has built over 25 of them to date across the USA, including eight which it operates itself, has decided to focus on continuing to grow its own chain of parks and exit the client build business. It will no longer design or build adventure parks or related adventure structures for other companies. Outdoor Ventures began with a vision for designing and building a special kind of adventure experience that brought people outdoors for recreation and learning, changing lives by providing an exceptional environment for individual challenge and achievement.
Its own Adventure Parks have been very successful. Over the course of eight years Outdoor Ventures has developed unique approaches and operating systems that are setting standards and which encompass a more complete vision, extending far beyond the build alone: from site selection to design, construction, management, safety procedures, daily operations and marketing.
"The past eight years have been absolutely amazing," said Bahman Azarm, CEO of Outdoor Ventures, "We first entered the business with the intention of just building a single adventure park, which we completed in 2009. It was the first of its kind in the nation and was so successful that we knew we were on to a great thing and decided to build more of them – some of which we built and operate ourselves, and some which we built for clients. The time has come for us to focus on placing our full attention on the parks we build and operate ourselves. We want the Adventure Parks of Outdoor Ventures to continue to innovate and set the standard for this evolving industry."
Plans are already in the works to expand the chain of OV-operated Adventure Parks in 2017 and beyond.
