April 9, 2016 - "I Have Autism… So What?," a new book by Kyle Curtis, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Kyle Curtis fell in love with being a teacher. She believes that teachers are hand-chosen by God. She is writing this book to share her journey with new teachers.

This story is unique because it can be used with children as young as three years of age and is also a great first book for siblings to understand autism. Kyle has spent her career advocating for all children with special needs and dedicated her education and research to solving the mystery of autism spectrum disorders.

About the Author:
Kyle Curtis is an early childhood special education teacher who specializes in working with students with autism in Farmington, Michigan. Kyle has been a special education teacher for 15 years and is currently working on her PhD in early childhood education. Kyle wrote this book while working on her master's degree in special education with an emphasis on autism spectrum disorders. Upon completion of the book, Kyle began using it in several general education classrooms to help explain autism to preschool and elementary age children. Kyle is a firm believer that educating children about autism helps reduce fear and anxiety for children about peers with disabilities and become future advocates for equal educational rights.
