Man Bears Mark of the Beast

"Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast…" says the Book of Revelation. The future battle called Armageddon begins when a great beast rises up from the earth with horns like a lamb and the voice of a dragon. In the sight of men he will make fire come down from heaven. "There are a number of clues identifying the beast as a celestial enemy," says author, R.D. Valenti. "The first time the beast waged war in heaven he arose out of the sea. In ancient literature 'sea' is often used to describe the vastness of outer space. The number of his name, 666, when recognized as an astronomical calculation explains why the beast rises up from the earth as he prepares for a second battle."

"…and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." Valenti says the beast's power is a simple law of physics. From the time the celestial adversary claimed his throne in heaven and to this day, all who dwell on Earth share the number of the beast and bear his mark in their right hand or in their foreheads. These two images of the mark represent the ruling class (in their foreheads) and the laborer (in their right hand)… the small and the great… the rich and the poor. "This is a good news, bad news discovery," says Valenti. "In a time when wars are fought over conflicting religious beliefs a science based explanation to scriptural mysteries is a great equalizer. The bad news is a rogue, celestial enemy changed the history of mankind. Earth's most major catastrophies, including the loss of Paradise and the Great Deluge, were the work of the beast described in the Book of Daniel and Revelations."
