Otherworld Cottage Industries Increases Its Bandwidth By 150% To Provide Swift And Uninterrupted Access To Its Website

March 11, 2016 - Otherworld Cottage's February 24, 2016 press release generated more traffic to its homepage than its bandwidth could manage. Delighted by the increased number of visitors, but dismayed when the website temporarily shut down, they acted fast. However esoteric a real understanding of "bandwidth" may be, since the problem reported was that they'd run out of it, they increased it by 150% to prevent a recurrence of the problem. Then, since the increased traffic was the direct result of expanding their press releases to include nationwide media outlets, they set out to streamline their media interview and contact information.

To further mitigate the possibility of a recurrence, they introduced new procedures they expect will provide faster service to a growing number of interested correspondents. In addition to Otherworld Cottage's press releases, they instituted a Media Interview Contact Information list for broadcasters, podcasters, producers, show hosts, print media editors, interviewers and reviewers. Further to that, they streamlined their mechanical license contact for Morningstone Music, the BMI registered music publishing arm of Otherworld Cottage Industries.
