First Student Selects Latest Winning Entries in Artwork Contest

March 8, 2016 - CINCINNATI - Three elementary school students in Missouri have created winning artwork in a contest sponsored by First Student, the trusted provider of student transportation. The contest celebrates the experience of riding the school bus through artwork created by students in school districts across North America.First Student selected the latest winning entries from the Rockwood School District near St. Louis. Megan Baker, a fourth grade student at Blevins Elementary; Ella Burstein, a third grade student at Wild Horse Elementary; and Ben Winkler, a third grade student at Fairway Elementary, captured how "Happiness starts with yellow."
First Student awarded each elementary school $1,000 to put toward classroom supplies. The company is selecting a total of 12 winning artwork entries this year from students in participating school districts that First Student serves.
Contest submissions are also being shared on First Student's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts using the hashtag #MasterpieceMonday.
