About the Author:
Ray E. Furman, M. Ed. is a retired United States Coast Guard Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman and a former Medical Services Officer of the Central Intelligence Agency. His professional careers outside the military and C.I.A. include nine years as a beef cattle farmer in Remington, Virginia and over ten years as an educator as an elementary teacher, middle school teacher and a principal.

His years of teaching have lead to an understanding of the developmental needs of children. They, like the little pumpkins in the field, need encouragement and understanding in order to succeed. God loves children unconditionally.

After their four children (Janet, Paul, Anne, and Margaret Jo) had grown, Furman and his wife, Mary Jane, left their farm to reside in Warrenton, Virginia. They love their community and are devout Christians, who joyfully live to serve the Lord.

"The Littlest Pumpkin" is a 28-page paperback with a retail price of $15.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4809-1216-8. It was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
