DENSITRON acquired by QUIXANT plc

December 16, 2015 - Densitron Technologies, a supplier of electronic displays to the industrial marketplace, announces that it has been acquired by London AIM listed Quixant plc, a company specialising in the design and manufacture of computer solutions and monitors for the global gaming and slot machine industry. Densitron, which has over 40 years of history as a provider of advanced display solutions to industrial customers, will continue as a separate subsidiary of the Quixant plc group.

The merger enables Densitron to immediately extend its product range to include larger display formats and monitors as well as embedded computer solutions. Quixant has a strong Taiwan operation focused on design, manufacture and quality control which will enhance the capabilities of the existing Densitron Taipei facility.

New branding will be announced shortly that preserves the powerful and well established Densitron name but identifies the link to the Quixant plc group. A new and enhanced Densitron web site will also be launched in January as part of the planned growth of the company's business in its key marketplaces in Europe, the United States and Asia.
