November 25, 2015 - Sherman Bridge Lending, a national hard money lender headquartered in Irving, Texas, has taken the oath to give back to their community this Thanksgiving by donating turkeys and canned goods to the local CCA (Christian Community Action) out of Lewisville. Every year, CCA helps those in need by providing food and services, such as health care, financial aid and affordable housing. The idea was placed into action by Sherman Bridge's marketing manager, Heather Harrington. "I have once been where those people are. I am a previous angel, as they call it. And they helped my family to get on our feet. So when our CEO, Kurt Carlton, asked for ideas on how we could give back, my first thought was to give to their holiday baskets, so those who need it, can have a happy thanksgiving with their families, without worry."
Bobbe Erlinger, Managing Director of Sherman Bridge, said that he was excited to be a part of this program. "All of our loan officers were volunteering to go round up the food and hand deliver it today. This is something that we want to continue to do, and it was heartwarming to see our staff chipping in and throwing more into the carts."
Sherman Bridge says that they are excited to continue to serve their community in future events and is very grateful for the hard work of the CCA volunteers.
