Boulder Dentist Gives Back By Teaching at Alma Mater, University of Colorado

November 24, 2015 - Boulder, CO– Dr. W. Patrick Misischia has found a way to help aspiring dentists achieve their dreams by serving as a clinical assistant professor at his alma mater, the University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine.

Says Dr. Misischia, "I really enjoy giving back, and what better way than helping students learn?" As an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Surgical Dentistry, Dr. Misisichia is able to impart his passion for dental excellence. During his time at the University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Misisichia received his Master of Science and Certificate of Advanced Periodontics.

Outside of his work with the university, Dr. Misischia offers specialized periodontal care at his Boulder dental office. Periodontics focuses on the health of the structures surrounding and supporting the teeth, particularly the gums. Dr. Misischia offers dental care designed to prevent and treat gum disease and improve overall health of soft tissues.
