Detroit, Nov. 12, 2015 - The Adcraft Club of Detroit will recognize the best work in Detroit advertising during its Ninth Annual D Show Wednesday, Dec. 2. The event will take place from 6-10 p.m. at the Detroit Masonic Temple, located at 500 Temple St., Detroit and will honor work in print, radio, TV, integrated marketing and digital media over the past year.

Winners will be selected from a record 651 entries submitted from advertising agencies and companies throughout metro Detroit. A list of finalists is available at www.adcraft.org/dshow/. A panel of national and international judges will select the winners.

"Detroit is a top ad market that produces some of the best creative work in the industry," said Adcraft President Eric Kracht. "We're proud to recognize and showcase that work and support the region's advertising community."

The event will feature live music from Michigan artists including The Accidentals, Agent Mojo and DJKage. It will also include cocktails, a strolling dinner and an open bar, with more than 1,000 expected attendees.

Brian Yessian, chair of the D Council which organizes the show, said the schedule of this year's event is different than previous years, with the ceremony starting earlier at 6:15 pm and food and music to follow.

"Adcraft strives to bring its members access to the greatest speakers, performers and general talent to influence their creativity and stay informed on industry trends," Yessian said. "The D Show is our biggest night of the year, and we're excited to bring our members and guests an exceptional experience."

The ceremony is open to the public for those 21 and over. Tickets are available for $135 or $70 with a student ID. Group rates are available for $125 for parties of 10 or more.
