Credibility International Celebrates 5th Anniversary

November 3, 2015 - Credibility International, a forensic accounting firm, marks its fifth anniversary as an established leader as financial and damages experts in international arbitrations and high stakes litigation.

Credibility founder, Tim Hart, explained, "We started Credibility in 2010 with professionals who had spent their careers in large, global consulting firms with a vision of delivering big firm quality service at a much better value to our clients. In our first five years, our clients have entrusted us with their largest and most important matters, including more than 20 international arbitration expert assignments and ten domestic arbitration and litigation cases, as well as internal fraud investigations. We have testified in 15 international arbitration hearings and two federal trials with opinions on matters of fraud, corruption, accounting, finance and damages. Our testimony, both oral and written, has helped clients resolve a number of disputes favorably and has been the basis of arbitral awards and court decisions."

Credibility's work in international cases has involved businesses and governments in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. We have worked across a number of industries with particular concentration of cases in more highly regulated industries such as energy, financial services, mining and telecommunications. Our international arbitration work has been concentrated in investment treaty cases.

We have been active in the community, particularly with our involvement with the American Heart Association. We have been one of the leading sponsors of the Lawyers Have Heart race held in June in Washington for the past five years. Also, as part of our sponsorship of professional golfer, Jim Renner, we raised thousands of dollars for the American Heart Association.

Credibility's anniversary is also observed with sadness by the loss of one of our founding firm members, Dave Meilstrup, in early September of this year. He was a great person to know and has left fond memories for all of us. We will remember Dave as a great colleague, friend, husband and father.
