January 19, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Former West Ham footballer Reg Agyeman has joined the global e-learning producer, Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), as an account manager. Before joining TIS, Agyeman was in charge of sales of health & safety as well as compliance materials at generic e-learning producer, SkillSoft.
Commenting on his move to TIS, Agyeman said: “At SkillSoft, we found that we had to do a great deal of ‘customisation’ to the e-learning products we sold – so, for me, the logical step was to move to one of the world’s leading companies in custom-built e-learning materials. It eliminates the ‘generic’ phase and goes straight to providing the e-learning that the customer really wants.”
Agyeman began his working life as a footballer, at West Ham. Later, he studied for, and was awarded, a degree, going on to become a graduate trainee at chocolate manufacturer, Mars.
Before joining SkillSoft, he was UK sales manager at specialist safety company, Fire Angel.
