Local Kitchen and Bath Remodeler Joins Others to Support 2015 Boots, Badges and Bids Fundraiser

September 25, 2015 - Matt and Fran Thornton graciously opened up their Louisville home on August 29, 2015, to host the 2015 Boots, Badges and Bids fundraiser. This special fundraising event has become increasingly popular and well-known in the Louisville, Kentucky area.

The Boots, Badges and Bids event supports the Louisville Metro Police Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides programs and equipment for local police officers and their families. Individual tickets to the event started at $375. The event included entertainment from Burning Las Vegas and a private VIP reception. For the adventurous, a mechanical bull was also on location for riding. As the night went on, guests enjoyed participating in both a live and silent auction.

The fundraiser was sponsored by several successful local companies including Thornton's, Texas Roadhouse, Brown Forman, UPS and Kosair Charities. Both the silent and live auctions were filled with a variety of exciting and unique items including a rose cherry wine cooler donated by Louisville kitchen and bath remodeling company, Savvy Home Supply.
