Iowa Automotive Journalist to Host New Radio Show

September 24, 2015 - Ken Chester, Jr., a longtime automotive journalist and EveryCarListed.com contract employee, has been tapped to host a new Saturday morning radio show starting in September.

According to Van Harden, program director of iHeartMedia's NewsRadio 1040 WHO (WHO-AM), Ken will host a weekly two-hour program on Saturday mornings to be called "The Ken Chester Show". Ken is known to readers, listeners and viewers in the metro Des Moines marketplace having been active for over 20 years. From being an occasional guest and guest host on the highly rated "Van and Bonnie in the Morning" program on NewsRadio 1040 WHO, to a regular automotive columnist for the Des Moines Register and oft quoted automotive expert featured on a number of local television news programs.

Ken is the founder and CEO of Iowa-based Motor News Media Corporation – an automotive news service that provides automotive reviews, photography and features to media outlets across the United States. He also has a retail website: www.automaniacity.com which connects users to his automotive image galleries, online automotive literature stores and Facebook page.

The Ken Chester Show is targeted to be more of a lifestyle show with an automotive bent as opposed to being purely automotive in nature. Ken intends to entertain, educate and engage listeners on a wide variety of topics every week. Unique, novel and interesting guests will be featured both locally as well as nationally. Trends and topics like the autonomous vehicle will be discussed and debated. Listeners will be invited to go along for the ride.
