The Studio Sirens Collection

September 22, 2015 - Inspired by the decadence of Studio 54 sirens Bianca Jagger, Jerry Hall, Jane Birkin and Edie Sedgwick, the Regis looks combine a wealth of style heritage with a fresh perspective – resulting in four show stopping styles. The latest collection for the salon brand is the first one styled by Regis's new creative director, Kieron Fowles. He explains his inspiration behind the looks:

Bianca - With her sultry stare and thick dark locks, Bianca Jagger knew how to make an entrance. Always one to stand out from the crowd, the Bianca style combines voluminous curls with a sleek finish and is guaranteed to turn heads.

Marsala is the colour of the year, so there's no better time to try this wine red tone. The earthy, rich tones are great for autumn/winter and help to accentuate shine in the hair.

Teaming the deep bold colour with a long bob is great way to update your look for the new season.

Jerry - Jerry Hall's champagne-toned golden locks are the very image of 70s hair. Previously reserved for the rich and famous, natural looking blonde tones are easier to achieve with freelights. This new colour technique allows stylists to add naturally placed lightness by painting onto the hair free-hand.

The long length style, parted at the centre is also very typically 70s but the addition of perfect Hollywood-style curls embraces Jerry's covetable air of elegance creating a timeless look.

Edie - The original party girl muse, Edie Sedgwick was known for her effortless glamour with a fashion edge – which is what this look imitates.

Colour is the key to making shorter hairstyles look feminine and high-end. Channelling Edie's intensity, the modern marbelling colour technique works bronze, copper and truffle tones into the hair to accentuate texture.

Birkin - British beauty, Jane Birkin made effortlessly fashionable a way of life. This look takes a classic polished updo and gives it the undone Birkin treatment – recreating the style icon's expensive yet easy-going image.

Using metallic silver tones, which will be huge next season, gives the style a modern twist as Jane was always one step ahead of the crowd.
