East Orange, NJ Author Publishes Collection of Kids Sayings

September 17, 2015 - "Kids Chatter," a new book by Mary F. Jones, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Mary F. Jones kept her pencil handy during the decades she worked with preschool children. Recording the commentary that made her laugh resulted in Kids Chatter, a compilation of quotes and wisdom.

About the Author: Mary F. Jones has worked with children since 1972. She began as a volunteer when her youngest child started preschool. A short time later, the preschool hired Mary as a teaching assistant, a profession that carried her to retirement.

"When I started working with the children, I always enjoyed the funny things they said," Mary recalled. "I started writing down a few cute quotes I heard them say. I've been writing ever since."

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Mary now lives in New Jersey. When she is not writing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild, she enjoys bowling, crocheting, and arts and crafts.
