Katie Giguere's Debut CD Chosen as TOP 10 for 2005

Nashville, TN January 17, 2006 — Critically acclaimed CCM recording artist Katie Giguere is off to a great start in the new year. A recent announcement from Christian Music Monthly founder, Mark Weber revealed that "Bringin' Me Hope", Katie's debut CD, was selected as the Number 2 CD in their TOP TEN list for 2005. Giguere shares the Top Ten honors with some CCM heavyweights, including Chris Rice, CeCe Winans, Jars of Clay, Natalie Grant and Ashley Cleveland, among others.

Giguere's critically acclaimed debut CD has received praise from several prominent publications, including Billboard, Christian Retailing, OnCourse and Campus Life, to name a few. Wade Jessen at Billboard called the project "a triumph". Noted writer/critic Mike Parker compared Giguere's vocal talent to that of CeCe Winans, Mariah Carey, and Jaci Velasquez.
