Columbus State Community College is live with Credentials eScrip-Safe

June 18, 2015 - NORTHFIELD, IL – Columbus State Community College is live with TranscriptsPlus® from Credentials eScrip-Safe. This secure, compliant, and easy-to-use online ordering service is available to students and alumni 24/7. Credentials is also sending School-to-School and 3rd Party PDFs through TranscriptsNetwork™ and the eScrip-Safe network on behalf of the institution.

Columbus State Community College is the first school with Credentials to go live with the Ellucian APIs. As an institution utilizing the Colleague by Ellucian™ student information system, the school was looking for an option to automate transcript processing. The Ellucian APIs check if a student or alumnus exists in the system and if there are any holds on accounts. The ability to send PESC XML through OBOR has made the biggest financial impact, as a significant volume of outbound transcripts is delivered in this manner. This has expedited processing and helped the transcript operation run more efficiently.

Columbus State Community College has also implemented eRoboMail®, which automates the printing, folding, inserting, sealing and stamping of paper transcripts, while integrating security paper, tamper-proof envelopes and copy and thermal protections. eRoboMail even accommodates attachments and utilizes Intelligent Mail® Barcodes, which allow students to be notified when their transcript is out for delivery.
