TRUMBULL, CT – AllCountyJobs.com, LLC has expanded its network of local job boards into New York City, Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The new sites located at NYCityWorks.com, EasternMassWorks.com & RhodeIslandWorks.com are now available to job seekers and employers. Each of the job boards target their local job market in an effort to attract the most local candidates – something the big job sites like Monster.com have trouble doing. “When you post a job on one of our sites, 90% of the applicants are local. That’s what employers want.”, says Chris Russell, President & Founder of the job search company. Russell adds that using the national job boards to post an ad can sometimes bring in dozens of résumés from people out of state whom you are never going to hire. “Our sites avoid sending you those out-of-state applicants since they are only advertised locally.”
AllCountyJobs.com employs a multi-faceted approach to marketing the sites by soliciting links from other local web sites, advertising with Google and Yahoo and attending local job fairs to promote the job boards. “Attracting the local job seeker is our number one goal” Russell says.
The new expansion now gives the company twelve local job boards, all of which link to each other to form a network. Combined, the sites now attract almost 80,000 monthly job seekers. The new sites will give the network higher visibility among job seekers which is key to maintaining higher traffic levels.
Job seekers can use the sites for free by searching jobs, posting their résumés or signing up for email job alerts. Employers pay a small fee to post jobs or search résumés.
