The Austrian student and software developer Roman Mittermayr has finally released the long awaited Firefox/Mozilla version of WikiSearch, a toolbar for Wikipedia which is becoming a must-have utility for Wikipedia Fans, counting over 100.000 downloads since it's launch.

WikiSearch is, just like it's source of information (Wikipedia), totally free.

Even though students usually hit the internet for making money, this utility was developed in spare time, in order to become the No.1 freeware toolbar for every Wikipedia user.

The software was featured in various computer magazines and online portals recently, including MSN, AOL, CompuServe, TuCows and many more.

"People like free things and that's a big plus for WikiSearch - It's completely free of malware and quite small in size. I think these are the major reasons for our users to download it.", says the author, a 22-year old Austrian student, about the recent increasing popularity of WikiSearch.

WikiSearch Version 1.0.0.60 is now available for Internet Explorer and Firefox / Mozilla. It is provided with an uninstaller and free customer support through: software@mittermayr.com
