Wilmington's Latest Creative Tech Agency Opens Downtown Office

March 4, 2015 - Wilmington, Delaware, becoming known for its many creative & technology agencies downtown, has a new entrant looking to make its mark on the lower Market St. tech scene.

"I placed a bet on Wilmington, moved right downtown off Market St because I think there is a lot of opportunity in Wilmington and Delaware for a technology agency" says Rory Laitila, itr8group's Co-Founder. Rory added, "What changed my opinion of Wilmington was the work done by the WRC [Wilmington Renaissance Corporation], their plans for a Creative District, and the success of other creative agencies. I want to be a part of that opportunity in Wilmington."

itr8group (pronounced Iterate Group) has joined the Wilmington startup community after opening offices at The Loft, Wilmington's first co-working space located on the second floor loft space of 605 N. Market Street. The Loft is a project of Start it Up Delaware, a hub of entrepreneurship which seeks to build a vibrant startup community.

"I started working out of The Loft in 2013, but when my partners and I decided to launch itr8group, we knew that staying in the co-working community was right for us. Our business is the product of the open collaboration that goes on at The Loft, and we want to continue being part of this community" says Rory.

itr8group's partners bring together their business, creative and technical talent to work directly with customers' executive teams. They focus on developing internal and customer-facing software, building and training software development teams, and improving business processes through data, analytics, and custom software solutions. itr8group's priority is to focus on learning about their customer's challenges to find the most valuable changes for an organization. Understanding the impact of those changes then serves to identify additional projects that build upon each other. Each successive iteration ensures itr8group is continuously delivering working software and building trust with its customers.

On the itr8group approach, Rory explained, "We work directly with owners, founders, CEOs, and the entire executive team to implement change that is often difficult for them to implement internally. We identify those complex and most important 10% of improvements that deliver the biggest returns. By managing the implementation, we free up the executive team to manage the day-to-day business. We then deliver documented processes, software and systems that help our customers grow their businesses and launch their apps and products."

Rory launched itr8group in Wilmington to a crowd of tech entrepreneurs, developers and customers who had gathered at The Loft for the recent monthly Delaware Tech Meetup last Thursday, February 26th. This was after Start it up Delaware's Managing Director Mona Parikh explained the benefits of working at The Loft. Rory's story echoed Mona's when he said: "itr8group really is a result of working together at the Loft. I have customers in this room, and many people here tonight have helped me validate my product. If you come be a part of this community and give to it, it gives back in return."

Itr8group also has a Midwest Office, located on the sixth floor of the historic Lynne Tower in downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin and operated by Co-Founder Adam Steele. The itr8group partners Adam Steele and Rory Laitila have been working together for many years, and are thrilled to be launching itr8group as a part of the growing Wilmington creative community.
