Lodging Opportunity Fund, REIT acquires Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, Lincoln, Neb.

February 18, 2015 - LINCOLN, NE – The Lodging Opportunity Fund, REIT (LOF-REIT), a private Real Estate Investment Trust, announces the purchase of the Country Inn & Suites in Lincoln, Nebraska. LOF REIT completed the purchase with the Carlson Hotel Group on October 20, 2014.

The Country Inn & Suites is a perfectly situated property, being a short distance off of I-80, with many amenities within 5 minutes. The hotel consists of 95 oversized and modern guest rooms with a plethora of meeting space. The hotel opened in 2000 and has been well maintained by dedicated staff members. The owner renovated the hotel to the brand's latest design between 2011 and 2014.

Different from any other Country Inn & Suites, the hotel offers an onsite restaurant and convention center. The hotel provides the largest Conference Center in North Lincoln which provides exceptional ongoing demand for guestrooms. At 6,580 square-feet, the Conference Center is a great venue for multiple meetings, gatherings and banquets. The hotel condition and proximity to prime conference, sports, retail and corporate demand generators will drive higher response.
