February 13, 2015 - "Oz: The Final Journey," a new book by The Enchanted Hearts, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc."Oz: The Final Journey" by The Enchanted Hearts is a uniquely written work whose roots sprouted with L. Frank Baum's treasured tale of the travels of Dorothy to the Land of Oz, where "anything's possible if you just believe."
We all know the story of Dorothy and her adventures with Scarecrow, Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and Witches… good and bad. However, how many of us know what happened to her when she returned home to Kansas? What did she do with her life? Did she have a family? "Oz: The Final Journey" gives us insight into what became of Dorothy. It is an enigmatic story of faith in oneself and others that there is a strong correlation between dreams and reality.
Generation by generation, join those who may have started the journey as "non-believers" and see what their thoughts are at the end of the epic trek to Oz, a land of fantasy and wonder. But, no matter what their experiences, there seems to be a single conclusion… "There's no place like home."
About the Authors:
The Enchanted Hearts are a mother and son collaboration who felt the need to answer the question of what happened to Dorothy when she returned from Oz.
This duo from Oklahoma City spent many fun-filled years attending the theater and the ballet, which only fueled the desire to create a little magic of their own. Needless to say, one of the most memorable events was the Broadway production of The Wizard of Oz.
Dusty, the son in this duo, has been a creative soul since childhood. As an adult he is a pre-K teacher and actor. His mother and co-creator is also in the childcare field. However, to quote the author, "Mom is a lot like Cinderella and I am known as Peter Pan. I understand that's kind of strange, but not to us."
"Oz: The Final Journey" is a 160-page paperback with a retail price of $15.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4809-0980-9. It was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
