Less Than $6 per Domain for Hosting Providers, With the New AXIGEN Mail Server Licensing Scheme
January 11, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
AXIGEN Mail Server Hosting Provider Program is offering an attractive domain licensing scheme with dynamic mailbox allocation and an average of 25 mailboxes per domain. Prices are ranging from $11 to less than $6 per domain, depending on license size. The license type is perpetual; it is not per year or time limited base. An open license with unlimited mailboxes and domains is also available for larger installations. So, where the Business Edition licensing scheme is based on the number of mailboxes, no matter the number of domains, the Hosting Provider Program is being centered on the number of domains itself, with a dynamic mailbox allocation. For example, starting from $550 for 50 domains and 1,250 domains, the new Hosting Provider license for 7,500 mailboxes, dynamically allocated to a maximum of 300 domains, is worth only $1,750 and includes 1 year free software maintenance and free e-mail support. The full licensing scheme is available on our web site, http://www.axigen.com.
This way, we make sure that any Hosting Service Provider using an AXIGEN Mail Server is able to provide, along the warranty of security and functionality of the mail server itself, a competitive subscription fee for the customers.
“AXIGEN Service Provider Program is our strategic option regarding the messaging market: there is an offer both technically and financially within the small and medium businesses reach. We also want to make a point on the small and medium size hosting providers market, whose limited financial resources are not fitted with any commercial offer. Downloading Open Source may be an option, but it brings along costs and time consumption” says Oana Bornaz, AXIGEN CEO.
