November 19, 2014 - Oakdale, PA – Premier Safety & Service, Inc. proudly announces a partnership with The TC House Project, a residential housing program providing young adults with Down Syndrome a home allowing them to live independently and be full members of their community.

Premier Safety, a leading distributor of protection gear, is providing design work and materials, along with a monetary donation to the project. Company officials are excited to put Premier Safety's products and talents to work in such a worthy cause.

The TC House Project was conceived in 2005 as a way to provide a home for Chris McGough, a young adult with Down Syndrome. Tyler Palko and members of the organization's board of directors grew up with Chris in Imperial, PA. Chris is the son of Steve McGough, a sales representative with Premier Safety.

Over time, TC House Project leaders expanded their vision, and now have the ambitious goal of building a house for four individuals with Down Syndrome. The home will allow its residents to live independently and provides them with the opportunity to engage in their local community and become valued residents.

Giving individuals with Down Syndrome the opportunity to more fully engage with their communities enriches those communities by giving residents the chance to interact and form friendships with those individuals. It gives the individuals a greater sense of self-worth and belonging, allowing them to live richer, more meaningful lives.
