Coin Academy and the College Cryptocurrency Network Team Up to Bring Crypto to Campus

September 30, 2014 - The College Cryptocurrency Network has selected Coin Academy as the content provider for their fast growing initiative to bring cryptocurrency education to campuses across the U.S. Under the arrangement, Coin Academy will be providing their original digital currency courses to the students inside the College Cryptocurrency Network and will help the CCN source and curate content. Jeremy Gardner, Executive Director and co-founder of the CCN, announced the agreement on Monday: "The College Cryptocurrency Network is delighted to work with Coin Academy in order to fulfill our mission of blockchain and cryptocurrency education. Our collaboration will create an academic synergy for the masses."
Current Coin Academy courses cover Bitcoin ownership, Bitcoin as a merchant solution, the basics of digital currency ownership, and a history of the origins of the digital currency movement. Ric Shreves, Coin Academy co-founder stated "we are currently developing additional courses and will be looking to the CCN for their input on the creation of materials that will also serve the needs of their students. It's our goal to produce the best digital currency educational content available."
Implementation planning is currently underway. "We are looking to integrate our content with the CCN website as quickly as possible, and our tech teams are now in discussion to sort out the details. We hope to have things in place in the next couple of weeks," said Stephen DeMeulenaere of Coin Academy. He added, "partnerships like this are exactly what we want to see. They extend our reach and help us meet our goal of making digital currencies accessible to the masses."
