SEEKING CANADA'S NEXT TOP MODEL

November 25, 2004- - In sync with their national launch in December 2004, PURE Woman Magazine is kicking off a nation wide model search for Canada's next top model. The search is a fun and easy way for aspiring women to showcase themselves to PURE's leading editorial and artistic team.

The search will run from December 1st 2004 through to February 28, 2005 and is open to anyone ages 14 –29 who submits an entry photo along with the required entry form and photo release. All entrants will be judged based on their photogenic qualities with a strong emphasis on natural beauty and personality, which shines though in their submitted photographs.

Entry forms can be picked up and dropped off at the Bay in Cornwall Centre, Regina or online at www.purewoman.ca. Maurice Simpson, Marketing Director of PURE Woman Magazine explains, "This is a trial partnership between PURE Woman and the Bay, Regina. We hope that this contest benefits new talent, the Bay and PURE's national agenda so that we may expand upon this partnership throughout 2005'.

Canada's Next Top Model will be featured in a fashion shoot in PURE Magazine and will be given the opportunity to be on a cover in 2006. "This is an excellent opportunity for women who want to break into the industry, get some serious experience and build a professional portfolio', says Editor B. Ann Jones. "Easy and free access to such highly regarded exposure, which may lead to a future in fashion modeling or commercial modeling, makes a contest of this nature highly attractive.'

Although men will not have the opportunity to be on the cover, they are encouraged to apply and will have the chance to be featured in a fashion shoot.
