Southwest Florida Community Foundation, BoardMa Partner on Web Award

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Aug. 28, 2014) – The Southwest Florida Community Foundation has partnered with Internet marketing company, Atilus, and board of directors management software company BoardMa on a new grant award for nonprofits. The Atilus Community Web Award is a grant that will be awarded to lucky local non-profits that includes a $20,000 Grand Prize Grant Winner selected to receive a web development and Internet marketing package valued at $20,000 and the first 50 to apply will receive a year license for BoardMa.com, valued at $360 for each year-long license.
"Our goal is that this award will truly benefit nonprofits in Southwest Florida by providing them with increased awareness of their mission and work with the end-goal of increasing their donations year-over-year," said Zach Katkin, president of Atilus. "We want to show our appreciation for the community that has fostered our growth by creating a grant to give back to local nonprofits."
According to Katkin, Atilus recently launched the new non-profit centered tool, BoardMa, an online portal designed to help board of directors manage their board and organization more effectively. Through BoardMa's platform, nonprofits can communicate to their board members with ease, record tasks to hold members accountable, keep files in their proper place and much more.
The award will supply one nonprofit from Lee, Charlotte, Glades, Collier and Hendry counties a yearly website, content production, two years of hosting and Internet marketing consulting services. The total award value is $38,000.
"The grand-prize winner will work hand-in-hand with the Atilus team to plan and execute a site redesign as well as a year-long Internet marketing plan," said Sarah Owen, president and CEO of the Southwest Florida Community Foundation which is a partner in offering the grant. "Atilus track record in helping area nonprofits speaks for itself."

On September 19, Atilus will present a webinar about the Community Web Award and BoardMa to interested nonprofits at the Southwest Florida Community Foundation.
