Vikoz Enterprises Wraps-Up Negotiations on Deal for Plastic Powder, Pellets and Scrap

August 27, 2014 - Vikoz Enterprises, industry leader in plastics recycling, said today that the company has just finished final details on a long-term deal for plastic powder, pellets and plastic scrap with a U.S. / Canadian manufacturer of these products.

Details on the agreement between Vikoz and their partner were not available due to the terms of the contract. However, a spokesperson for Vikoz did say that the deal runs for one year and is subject to a 2 year renewal if all goes as expected.

"This agreement fits perfectly into our long term goal to provide feedstock to our customer base," said the Vikoz spokesperson. The company expects to start receiving loads of plastic feedstock under the terms of the agreement beginning in the next couple of weeks from plants in Canada and Houston, Texas.

Vikoz's partner in this deal maintains plants in both the U.S. and Western Canada and the agreement between them is said to involve approximately 3 - 4 million pounds of mostly LLDPE and HDPE resin, for which Vikoz has deals pending with long time buyers.

Vikoz Enterprises has been in the plastics recycling business for 18 years. The company recycles all grades of plastic and they purchase raw plastic scrap in any form, regrind or resin.
