Exclusive Online Bakery Opens At Notpie.com

June 12, 2014 - The newly launched online bakery (Notpie.com) offers customers the ability to send someone a single, giant cupcake, order a six pack of smaller cakes, as well as sign up for a monthly subscription service. Gift cakes start at just $15 and all prices include shipping in the United States for delivery in two days. The idea for Not Pie was born after its creators struggled with sending a cake to a family member for their birthday.

"As an online only bakery, we had two goals for Not Pie when we started out, making gourmet gifts that are affordable and easy to order," said co-founder Josh Bradley, "and creating products that would be delicious after being shipped across the country."

Not Pie ditches the traditional idea of a cupcake covered in overly sweet frosting, for a more flavorful cake, topped with a house made marshmallow and then dipped in either dark, or white chocolate. The single cupcake, dubbed, "The One", is a quarter pound version of the regular sized cakes available as a six pack. Subscribers get monthly shipments of special flavors, new products to try, stickers and other branded items.

NotPie.com is the brainchild of Amanda Frazier and Josh Bradley, who have collectively spent three decades creating and marketing startups and ecommerce businesses for other people. With a desire to get out from behind the desk and use their combined super powers for the greater good, they set out to start a bakery designed to help people everywhere celebrate with the highest quality baked goods possible.
