IT'S A SPOTTING SCOPE… IT'S A DIGITAL CAMERA… IT'S BOTH

Los Angeles, CA—Kowa is proud to introduce the all-new Super Telephoto Digital Camera Scope TD-1. This exciting new product combines the best of ultra-high-power spotting scopes with the best of high-resolution digital photography, because it is essentially a spotting scope and digital camera all in one easy-to-use unit. With its ability to capture crystal clear images from astonishing distances, it represents major news (and a great opportunity) for everyone from birders to hunters to sports enthusiasts and amateur astronomers.
The Super Telephoto Digital Camera Scope TD-1 starts with a huge 55mm objective lens, which employs Kowa's Prominar ED technology to virtually eliminate color fringing, also known as chromatic aberration. With eleven lens elements in ten groups, the Super Telephoto Digital Camera Scope TD-1 provides an astonishing 10 to 30-power magnification, the 35mm equivalent of a 450mm-1, 350mm zoom lens! Even more astonishing, these images are transmitted at a bright f/2.8-4.
Yet the auto-focusing optics of the Super Telephoto Digital Camera Scope TD-1 is only part of the story. They send images to its built-in 3.1 mega pixel CCD camera, where they're captured on a SD memory card for easy downloading to any computer, via the included USB cable. A big 1.8-inch LCD is used for both composition and review of captured images.
An included wireless remote control eliminates jitters from shutter-squeeze, and handy functions such as auto focus override and a four-shot continuous mode make it easy to capture that once-in-a-lifetime image forever.
