Duke Manufacturing Co. Appoints David Marvel as President and Hires Tom LaMantia as EVP, Global Operations

St. Louis, MO (May 9, 2014) – Duke Manufacturing Co. a leading foodservice equipment design and manufacturer recently named COO David Marvel as its new President. He will continue to report to Jack Hake Chairman and CEO.As President, Marvel will be responsible for managing the company's day to day business activities and will work closely with the executive team to achieve its strategic and financial objectives. In addition to executing the company's overall strategy he will be responsible for expanding its commercial presence across all of their market segments worldwide.
"In 2010, Dave was brought into Duke's Executive Management Team as our Chief Operating Officer," said Hake. "Over the last four years he has developed a deep understanding of our business and has consistently demonstrated the skills, abilities and experience to lead the Company to even greater success."
Prior to joining Duke, Marvel had a 27 year career with Olin Corporation where he held positions of increasing responsibility in Marketing, Sales and Operations. In addition to managing several businesses units, Marvel spent 3 years in Shanghai China managing Olin's Asian Operations with emphasis on strategy and business development.
Tom LaMantia joins Duke as EVP, Global Operations and will report to Marvel and join him as a member of the Executive Team.
As EVP, LaMantia will work closely with the executive team on strategy development and will be responsible for providing critical direction to our operations and new product development teams throughout the world.

Prior to joining Duke, LaMantia was President of Watlow and worked for Fortune 500 Companies GE and Honeywell.
