April 11, 2014 - Stacey Steffes from Lancaster, Pa is one of the candidates for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's annual Man and Woman of the Year Competition. As part of the competition, Steffes will be hosting the Let's Rock Cancer fundraising event at the Pressroom Restaurant. The event will run from 6 pm till 10 pm on April 21, and all proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Pressroom restaurant will be unrecognizable. Live body statues will be sporadically placed throughout the room to give an ambiance and artistic flair. The sparkly runway will be awaiting our honorable s[h]avees. The s[h]avees will be making history in cancer fundraising forever as we paint their heads and the stigma of the illness will be removed and replaced with fight, honor and will to survive to prove that bald is beautiful and we will ROCK cancer.
The night will be filled with food, friends and entertainment as we celebrate life and the will to overcome this awful disease. We are pulling out all the stops as we introduce the BLUJAY'S band to kick off the night and NEXT PHASE EVENTS to get you moving. Passed hor d'oeuvres from Penn Square Grille, Lancaster Pickle, Kegel's and Pita Pit will keep you filled throughout the night.
Please join us as we change cancer fundraising in our hometown of Lancaster, PA forever. We promise this will be a night you will never forget.
