KFOX-TV; the Fox television affiliate for El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico; recently advised travelers to get "consumer feedback" on hotels by visiting "HotelShark.com." The recommendation was posted on KFOXTV.com on December 15, 2005, in a piece entitled "Consumer Watch: Star Crossed Hotel Ratings."The segment said that to maximize the chance that "your next hotel stay" is "just what you bargained for," read "HotelShark.com" to "get the inside scoop from people who've actually stayed at the hotel." Without the site, "it can be hard to know what you will find when you get to your room."
The endorsement is the third from a network television station this winter. Last month, the ABC television network affiliate in Chicago and a CBS television network affiliate in Kansas recommended HotelShark.com.
