BELLEPOINTE STORE SALES DRAMATICALLY INCREASE WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF ECOMMERCE STORE

COLUMBUS- BellePointe provides women’s clothing to specialty stores throughout the country and is well-known throughout Columbus for their seasonal warehouse sales. Online clothing sales were never a focus at BellePointe until now.

Since the store was launched at the beginning of November, BellePointe’s sales have increased by almost 70% from the previous month. The new online store allows customers access to BellePointe apparel anytime day or night. Prior to the online store, customers would have to attend warehouse sales or purchase clothing through a women’s specialty store.

“I am happy to offer our customers the opportunity to make purchases from us online. Not all of our customers are in Columbus and can come to our warehouse sales and many of them don’t have specialty stores near them to purchase our clothing,” said President of BellePointe Tim Wallace. “We couldn’t be happier with the results and expect that sales will only continue to improve.”

Interactive Ink, an interactive marketing agency focused on fixing under-performing web strategies, lead BellePointe through this implementation. Interactive Ink recommended an online solution that would allow BellePointe to have complete control over the design and administration of their store.

“We worked closely with BellePointe during this process to ensure that the store would be configured to meet the needs of their business,” said Mark Whitman of Interactive Ink. “Since implementation, sales have increase dramatically and will continue to increase as we implement the marketing initiatives associated with the site.”

The store is maintained by BellePointe employees through the use of content editors and a user friendly interface that allows all employees, regardless of computer knowledge, to make changes in the store when needed. This provides BellePointe with complete control over their online store without having their own IT department.
