Yost Appliance Successfully Concludes Fundraiser for DAWG

March 25, 2014 - Santa Barbara, CA - During the month of February, Yost Appliance Repair initiated a donation campaign using their Facebook Fan Page to raise awareness and funds for DAWG, the Dog Adoption Welfare Group. Yost Repair committed to donating one dollar for every new "LIKE" added to their page until March 1st.

They started their challenge with 189 likes, and finished with 340, translating to a donation amount of $151.00. Burt Yost was thrilled to see the outpouring of support for this important charity.

DAWG is dedicated to providing medical care, training, and a loving environment for homeless dogs while promoting their permanent adoption through community outreach programs. They are committed to reducing the rate of euthanasia in the Santa Barbara County shelters and to finding permanent homes for homeless dogs. DAWG also strives to assist all types of homeless dogs irregardless of breed, age, gender or disability.
