Nation's Top Urgent Care Center Opens in Bridgeport

Bridgeport area residents are about to receive access to one of the nation's top health care facilities. The new state-of-the-art Doctors Express Urgent Care Center, located at 161 Boston Ave, opens to the public on Monday, March 3rd.

A special Ceremonial Grand Opening evening event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12th from 4-8pm when Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch, as well as other community leaders, and business men and women from the area will gather to celebrate the opening of the new office.

The new Doctors Express Bridgeport, led by Greenwich Hospital emergency room veteran physician, Dr. Steven Heffer, is capable of caring for every patient need, while being a quicker, easier, more convenient and affordable alternative to large hospital emergency rooms.

"Not only will Doctors Express help reduce the burden at our area's busiest emergency rooms, like Bridgeport Hospital and St. Vincent's, but our services can greatly decrease the wait time for patients and meet their most immediate medical needs," said Heffer. The new Bridgeport office is in the Bayview Plaza (landmarked as part of the Bridgeport Post Office plaza, and behind Burger King on Boston Ave.), which is conveniently located right off CT Routes 8 and 25, and a few minutes from I-95.
