Syndicated radio talk show host Paul McGuire has called President Bush to more actively support the nation of Israel, and work for peace in the Middle East.

Syndicated radio talk show host Paul McGuire has called President Bush to more actively support the nation of Israel, and work for peace in the Middle East. With the recent threat by the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to destroy the nation of Israel, tensions have started to mount. In a series of recent speeches, Ahamadinejad called the Jewish state a “tumor” that should be “wiped off the map,” and has denied the Holocaust ever happened. McGuire believes that these statements along with Iran’s nuclear build-up should be taken very seriously.

Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, has taken these threats so seriously, that he ordered the Israeli military to ready themselves for a strikes on secret uranium sites in Iran. The Israeli nuclear defense program is often referred to as the “Samson Option,” which is named after the Biblical story of Samson who destroyed ancient Israel’s enemies along with himself by pulling the temple down while he was chained to its pillars.

Paul McGuire who is a frequent commentator on CNN and the Fox News Network. He is also host of the nationally syndicated Paul McGuire Show which broadcasts from Los Angeles on KBRT, and a professor at the Kings College. McGuire just finished a new book which deals with Israel’s “Samson Option,” and predictions from the ancient Hebrew prophets entitled, “Are You Ready?” McGuire states, Americans need to face the fact that a regional thermonuclear war in the Middle East is very likely, and it will have profound economic and social consequences for America and the rest of the world. President Bush needs to place this at the top of the list of his priorities. Economic sanctions against Iran will not work because Iran has a $150 billion
surplus in oil revenues.”

Paul McGuire recently talked with former President Jimmy Carter on the priority of peace in the Middle East. Best-selling author, Dr. Tim Lahaye, who calls McGuire a “close friend” said, “I want to compliment you on your book, I read it and thought is was very well done!” McGuire has also been thanked by PLO leaders for giving both sides of the Middle East issue.
