Love Affair With My (Natural) Hair

Naturally You! Magazine is pleased to announce an open call for musical submissions for a forthcoming CD release; Naturally You!: Love Affair with My Hair. We are seeking original music and poetry from a wide range of genres that illustrate Black women's strong and at times tumultuous relationship with our hair.

Selected works will be featured on a compilation CD which will underscore Naturally You! Magazine's 3rd Anniversary Celebration in Fall 2006. In addition to inclusion on the CD, artists will be featured on Naturally You! Magazine's website, and in its print publication. Strong publicity and marketing opportunities are available to participating artists. Compensation will also be addressed.
