PROMT Released New Automatic Dictionary Construction Utility for @promt Professional 7.0

PROMT (www.e-promt.com) announced today the release of @promt Automatic Dictionary Construction (http://e-shop.comserv.promt.ru/catalog.asp?lang=en&id=216&mode=full), an add-on for @promt Professional 7.0 translation software. This new product automates the process of user dicionaries creation and make the user capable to build dictionaries from already existing tables of words and collocations with their translations.

PROMT’s investigation shows that many companies and private users who work frequently with foreign documents have already developed a number of their own glossaries in order to maintain the standards in terminology translation concening their fields of activity. As a result these companies and private persons do want to use these glossaries when switched to PROMT translation software. @promt Automatic Dictionary Construction add-on fully automates the procedure of user dictionaries creation on the base of previously existing glossaries.

The user dictionaries dramatically increase the quality of machine translation espically if there is a need to translate a lot of documents with specialised terminology. Using @promt Automatic Dictionary Construction the building of user dictionaries for @promt translation software from the existing glossaries is a “one-click” procedure.
