Have You Heard These 35 New Versions of Jingle Bells?

San Antonio, TX — In the old days, people were happy just to hear that same old, traditional version of Jingle Bells. But in the MTV generation, one just isn’t enough. Nope! In fact, 20-year-old San Antonio musician, Matt Adler, has created 35 brand new versions of Jingle Bells that you never even dreamed you would hear: from Redneck Jug Band to Oom Pa; from Pigs (yes, the farm animal!) to Trance. You can ever hear an Atari 3600 (a video game console from the early 80’s) belt out the notes! And then of course, there are still 30 more outrageous renditions left!
Matt recorded and arranged all 35 songs over the last week. When asked why he spent 24 grueling hours on the project, he replied, “Each year it seems like everyone is talking about the hot new email that’s circulating. This year it was the Christmas light extravaganza synchronized to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra song. And I thought it’d be cool for something of mine to be the one that everyone’s talking about!”
And the 24-hour time length is not an exaggeration. Matt worked 3 full, 8-hour days in a row to complete the project. “It definitely was frustrating at times,” he said, “I couldn’t tell you how often I accidentally deleted something or messed something up… Working with audio can definitely be a pain sometimes. But in the end, the songs sounded great!”
Once all of the songs were finally completed, Matt put them up on a website where anyone can have a listen. If you would like to hear them, simply head on over to http://www.JingleSongs.com. All 35 renditions of Jingle Bells can be played right off of the page for free. It’s loads of fun for the whole family!
