Beacon Asset Management, Inc. and Dick and Karla Nielsen-Keller Williams Tampa Properties Spread Holiday Cheer in Carrollwood

December 14, 2013 - Michael L. LaVoy, president, Beacon Asset Management, Inc. (Beacon), along with Dick and Karla Nielsen of Keller Williams-Tampa Properties, kicked off the 2013 holiday season by co-hosting a gathering of their clients and colleagues at Michael's Grill in the Carrollwood area of Tampa on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.

"Beacon and Dick and Karla Nielsen have a lot in common," said Mike LaVoy who added, "Our clients and Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA) colleagues are part and parcel of our business, and we wanted to demonstrate our gratitude by inviting them to celebrate the holiday season together at a favorite Carrollwood restaurant, Michael's Grill.

The celebration included CABA members as well as Carrollwood Community Bar Association (CCBA) members, volunteers from the Senior Information Resources (SIR) network, and a number of officers and members of the Krewe of Venus in addition to members of the Beacon Private Client Group.

Earlier in 2013, Mike LaVoy had announced the formation of a group that consisted of Beacon wealth management clients who embraced the concept of a group that would meet regularly, share business referrals and ideas, and promote collaboration among Carrollwood businesses. The December 4th holiday party, that encouraged networking between Beacon clients with the network of Dick and Karla Nielsen and CABA, met all of the group's objectives.

Charter member of the Beacon Private Client Group, Shirley Lolus, said she views her role in the group as social chairperson, "Our group of Beacon clients likes to get together and have fun with each other, talk about the market, and network; so it's my job to remind Michael and his staff that it's time for another party." Lolus added, "…and sharing this event with another stellar group like Dick and Karla Nielsen has made this party the biggest and most successful to date."
