"Magic in the Sea," a new book Amanda Russo, has been released by RoseDog Books.

In a magical land under the sea, Sally the Seahorse is scared to learn that sharks are trying to take over the ocean. She refuses to let this happen and asks Ody the Octopus to help her make a plan. Together, with other creatures from the sea, they go on a mission to find two mermaids who have secret powers to defeat the sharks.

About the Author:
Growing up in the suburbs of New Jersey, Amanda Russo always had a place in her heart for animals. Her younger years were filled with fish, hamsters, lizards, and even a hedgehog. New she owns a Labrador named Rocky, who has really proved that pets are a wonderful part of a family. Writing was always her specialty in high school. Amanda was part of a journalism class writing articles for the school paper. She feels reading stories about animals is a lovely experience for young and old alike. Since most people have memories of the joy and happiness pets bring into their lives, she hopes this story will do just htat.
