Garden Spa Scrapping Opened its Doors With A Full House

ARROYO GRANDE, CA. Garden Spa Scrapping, an enchanting getaway for scrapbookers, today announced that it celebrated its first weekend with a full house. Scrapbookers came from miles around to relax, be pampered and scrapbook.

The scrapbooking weekend included a welcome reception, a gift, lodging, five home cooked meals, (with special meals for those with dietary needs) snacks, beverages, and participation in free scrapbooking technique classes. The cost of the weekend retreat is $325. Spa services such as, half and full hour massages, manicures and pedicures are offered for an additional charge. Spaces are reserved in advanced.

“Garden Spa Scrapping is a unique place for women to come to. We are all so busy working and taking care of our homes and families that we forget to take care of ourselves,” said Marguerite, Owner and Hostess. “I created the getaway because I wanted to give women a place of their own where they can be taken care of and made to feel special. A place to scrapbook among friends while taking time to simply be.”

“Marguerite created such a peaceful, beautiful, warm, "space” for us scrappers! I absolutely love it here!!! The food was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond to make the weekend extremely relaxing, fun and comfortable for us all. The bedrooms look like they should be in a home decorating magazine,” said Robin Noll.

The three guest rooms were carefully decorated, each offering a different theme. There’s the French Country Room, the Tuscan Room, and the Bahaman Room. Together these rooms can accommodate up to ten guests per weekend.

The scrapbooking area is large and airy with cathedral ceilings and a fireplace. The room comfortably accommodates the ladies and each scrapbooking space includes a lamp, cup holder and trash bin. Each guest has 7.5 square feet of workspace. The guests may use the hostess’ personal scrapbooking tools.

There is an on-site scrapbooking supply store called “The Garden Tool Shed”. The tool shed is stocked with over 300 different products and includes: embellishments, solid color, patterned and decorative paper, adhesives, stickers, rub-ons, ribbon, albums, refill pages, page protectors, etc.
