My Social Marketing Network CEO Attends Awesomeness Fest

As competition in niche industries increases, a growing number of entrepreneurs are looking outside of their niche for inspiration and vision in order to gain advantage. In an effort to capture this market, a cadre of experiential events is popping up around the world.

Awesomeness Fest is one these unique events. This semi-annual experiential event seeks to bring together people who are driven to change the world – entrepreneurs, authors, technophiles, mavericks, artists and visionaries, alike in exotic locations.

Awesomness Fest is as experiential as it sounds. It provides participants an opportunity to learn to maximize potential and opportunities via three themes: vision, mastery, and connections.

Patrick Eckstrom , Co-founder and CEO of My Social Marketing Network (My SMN), a fully integrated digital marketing firm based in San Diego, CA took part in the awesomeness this past weekend. During the event, Eckstrom spent time with such visionaries as acclaimed authors Lisa Nichols, Steve Olsher, Summer McStravick, Kamal Ravikant and many more.

For Eckstrom, Awesomness Fest was a great opportunity to learn from other visionaries, entrepreneurs, and people with an extreme sense of drive. The festival focuses on allowing its participants to think and evaluate their roles in new and innovative ways.

"I wish I could explain in more detail of how Day 3 of Awesomeness Fest has been so full learning and connections that I will cherish for the rest of my life." Eckstrom explained.

Only time will tell if the connections and lessons that participants are exposed to during these experiential events will take root in their everyday life. But based on the excitement that Eckstrom and other attendees we spoke with is any indication for future events, we have high hopes.
